Starting Monday, Marea is setting sail on the Classic Harbor Line

Have you ever wanted to sail around Manhattan while drinking champagne and dining on crudo and caviar? I mean, yes? Alas, your dreams are about to come true. Classic Harbor Line, the gorgeous historic schooner company, has partnered with the Italian coastal restaurant Marea to present Marea at Sea, a leisure sail around downtown Manhattan featuring a menu of favorites from the restaurant’s Italian-inspired coastal cuisine.
The two hour sunset sail runs every Monday night starting August 14th through September 25th from Chelsea Pier 62, with a menu of spectacular views of the New York City skyline, served with Marea’s renowned crudo, caviar, and more.
The menu named, “Taste of Marea,” has been thoughtfully curated by Altamarea’s Corporate Executive Chef Lauren DeSteno and tailored to be enjoyed aboard America 2.0, Classic Harbor Line’s largest and most elegant schooner at a length of 105 ft. with 3,600 sq. ft. of sail area. While sailing past the One World Trade Center, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, you’ll be served two savory dishes followed by a dessert, and the option of a three-glass wine pairing curated by Marea’s sommelier team.
Tickets are $178 to $228 ($228 tickets include a 3-glass wine flight):

Gougére: Tuna Tartare, Crème Fraiche, Caviar
Oyster en Escabeche: Marinated East Coast Oyster, Pickled Plum, Charred Scallion, Roasted Garlic, Crostini Chip
Branzino: Bass Crudo, Panzanella, Castelvetrano Olive
Ricciola: Hamachi Crudo, Fig, Caper, Fennel
Second Course:
Beef Tartare: Hand Chopped Beef, Crostini, Shallot, Cornichon
Astice: Lobster, Tomato, Eggplant, Stracciatella , Basil
Seafood Salad: Shrimp, Scallop, Sepia, Salmoriglio
Melanzana: Fairy Tale Eggplant Stuffed with Caponata
Dessert: Bite Sized Sweets
Beverages: A complimentary beer, wine, champagne, or soft drink is included. Additional beverages are available for purchase or indulge in an additional optional Champagne pairing.
