An Al Fresco Fall Feast and a Hard Cider Party!

Today is Yom Kippur, so I should be busy repenting and reflecting at the moment, but you all need to have plans this weekend so first, The Weekend Buzz!
Red Hook Fire Relief at Strong Rope and Sunny’s
As you may have heard, there was a five alarm fire that wiped out a row of artists’ lofts in Red Hook, taking decades of history, artistry, and dreams, leaving behind a lot to rebuild. The community is rallying to raise money to support artists who have been displaced and have lost all of their work.
Strong Rope is doing a fundraiser Friday and Sunday (they are closed for a private event on Saturday): For every pint of Van Der Sahle Pilsner sold this Friday 10/3 and Sunday 10/4, we will donate $1 towards artists and businesses affected by the fire.
Tell your friends, order a Pilsner, and continue to donate to the GoFundMe. Down the street, Sunny’s Bar is also doing a benefit Monday October 6th at 8pm, with music by Sad Pageant and Palmetto Chain, free with a $25 suggested donation.
