Good morning friends!

One of the most frequently asked questions I get as a food writer is, “Where should I go for [fill. in the blank food] or to celebrate X event.” Fair question. I’ve been writing about restaurants for 25 years now—living, breathing and eating New York City's culinary scene. What’s happened is I’ve become walking talking culinary guide book.

To channel all that accumulated restaurant knowledge, I'm excited to share that I”m launching a new part of my business, The Strong Buzz Culinary Concierge, to help you plan the best NYC eating experience! 

Whether you’re traveling to NYC and wondering where to eat, or live in town but just want advice on where to take your special someone to celebrate a birthday, graduation, or anniversary, I’ve got you covered.

And the key to working with me is this: I will not only send you to the best NYC restaurants; I’ll choose the best restaurants for you. So if you love Italian, but want to stick to food from Northern Italy, or want a restaurant where the chef has lots of vegetarian options? I got you.

Craving the best burger in midtown, a night of oysters on the Brooklyn waterfront, or a grandma slice from an old school Carroll Gardens joint? I got you.

Planning a family vacation? I have two kids so I know the best places for grown-ups and kids to enjoy a meal. Whatever you crave, we can plan it together.

​When we work together, we start with a chat, where I'll get to know you and what you're hoping for in terms of your dinner, event, or travel plans. From there, everything is customized to your needs. You itinerary will include two choices of restaurants for every meal period. Want me to book everything? Sure! Want to meet the chef while you’re at the restaurant? I can see what I can do to make that happen! Want some fun sites to check out or to see a Broadway show? I can make recommendations there too!
