Get your Negroni Sbagliato (made in Greenpoint)
A limited edition bottled cocktail is ready for pre-order
Bottled cocktails are amazing aren’t they? I love them, and have enjoyed many (Julie Reiner’s Social Hour cocktails were a fave), particularly in the early days of the pandemic when I found them to be great as a breakfast beverage along with eggs and a full day of homeschooling my children. 😳
So, one of the best bottlers of cocktails to come along in the past few years is St. Agrestis, the Italian-inspired spirit and cocktail producer based out of Greenport, Brooklyn. They’ve become pretty well known for their bottled Negroni, but decided not to release their Negroni Sbagliato recipe because they felt like Americans were just too provincial to appreciate “sbagliato.” Ha, what did they know. We are hip! The Negroni Spagliato has gone viral.
Now, just today, in response to a viral internet sensation proliferating the Negroni Sbagliato, St. Agrestis has announced that they are doing a limited release of a bottled Negroni Sbagliato using St. Agrestis Inferno Bitter Aperitivo, housemade vermouth and Italian prosecco (the same one used in their RTD Spritz). Expected to ship mid-November, St. Agrestis is accepting pre-orders while supplies last! So if you love a Negroni Sbagliato (I am looking at you Dawn Casale!), get your pre-order in pronto presto!
St. Agrestis recommends serving their Negroni Sbagliato over ice, garnished with an orange twist and enjoyed with good company. As far as time of day, that’s up to you.
The St. Agrestis Negroni Sbagliato is available on www.stagrestis.com and is $64.99 for eight 200ml bottles.
