As someone who’s covered the food industry for a long time I can say that if I had a dollar for every time I was asked one of these questions I would no longer be renting an overpriced apartment in Brooklyn; I’d be paying a mortgage on one!

On Friday night, I hosted a really lovely jazz evening at &Holiday and we did this little intermission chat about restaurants and food and trivia and it inspired me to share the answers to some of the questions I most often receive. Things like: Where should I celebrate my (insert favorite person’s name) birthday, what’s the best burger in the city, where do you love to go for oysters, and what about brunch? And more.

While my answers are good and all, I really want to hear what your answers would be to these questions, because the best intel comes from you, the people of this beautiful city, who are out eating and drinking at restaurants in your own nooks and crannies and neighborhoods across the five boroughs. So please, comment heavily! And share with your friends. I can’t wait to hear your answers!

Brunch brunch brunch…yes, when I worked at Miracle Grill back in the day it was that shift everyone hated. Too many hangry people, but we digress. Yes, I have a few faves for that morning meal.
