We had such a fun night at Cafe Spaghetti on Tuesday for the first ever Strong Buzz Salon! There were festive spritzes, gorgeous rosés (my favorite was the Sicilian one from Lamoresca), fizzy pet nats, and juicy summery reds (oh my!) and many new friends were made. Thanks to Giovanna Cucola for hosting us in the garden and to Chef Sal for the mozzarella, baked clams, arancini and meatballs in sugo. The next Salon is planned for May 20th, more details to come soon but it’s going to be a feast! Buy those elastic waist pants now.
In other news, I’ll be (slow) running the NYC Runs Brooklyn Experience Half on Saturday (though with the rain forecasted maybe I’ll be swimming it) so if you’re out in Prospect Park around 10:30 am, look for me at the Finish Line.
