It’s possible that I’m late to the fancy Korean Steakhouse thing. I’ve actually never been to Cote, and while I love Korean food, I tend to go to places in my neighborhood like Insa and Haenyo, restaurants that are not steakhouses but tributes to a wider range of marvelous Korean dishes, ingredients, and flavors.
So perhaps I was so moved by Anto, a newish Korean Steakhouse that arrived six months ago in the space that used to be Felidia, because I had not yet experienced a proper Korean steakhouse before. But I don’t think so. Here’s why.
